I had a lamb kleftiko. The lamb was lovely, fell off the bone, but the mash potato was poor, i.e texture and the portion size. The broccoli and cauliflower was a small portion too, but, the gravy was way too rich and thick for a lamb dish to a point that it over powered the taste of everything on the plate. I think a subtle tasting and thinner gravy would compliment the dish better. Also carrots would have been a better choice for the dish.

It was our 25th wedding anniversary and just wanted a quiet romantic meal out. We decided on Ephesus as we have been a few times before. This place really does not disapoint. They have changed the menu a bit since last time we were there but I think that helps to keep things fresh. All to often places go stale due to a tiresome menu. But not Ephesus. First off we walked in and we were greeted by the staff and welcomed just like we were well known friends. The food was cooked to perfection.

It was a busy night but the food was well worth the wait, my Uncle who was over from Australia said it was the best plate of food he had tasted (Chicken Bodrum) and asked the owner who we got chatting to for the recipe which he told us the ingredients but also said that you can't get the spices that he uses in England so he is going to give it a try when he goes back home. The staff as always very friendly and obliging - really do love going to Ephesus

Friendly&helpful staff. Chef prepared a bespoke meal for my friend with out fuss. Would highly recommend the lamb chops,yummy.
