The Horseshoe inn

Our meal at the Horseshoe was very nice. The service could have been a bit quicker but the staff were v polite.

The chicken and leek pie, beef pie and beef lasagne were acceptable, the veggie lasagne could have had more flavour. The waitress sadly appeared to to not want to be there. All in all, it was good to try this local stalwart, but perhaps not the best experience and we’ll be looking to other restaurants in the future.

We had a wonderful visit to The Horseshoe Inn today. The food was absolutely delicious and arrived promptly, which was much appreciated. On such a hot day, the staff went above and beyond by setting up a fan near our table without us even having to ask – a thoughtful touch that made a real difference. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful throughout our visit. Excellent food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

We had the Sunday roast and it was excellent. The beef was melt in the mouth and had a variety of vegetables. Staff were lovely.

Food and service was amazing and to cope with a table of 11, everything came out at the same time and hot.

Very good Sunday Lunch, vegetables very good. Pleasant and efficient service. Would definitely return.

We’ve been here before so we knew what to expect. The service is excellent and the staff are friendly and attentive. This visit I had a new item from the specials board, Jamaican beef curry which was spot on, nice flavours and spicey enough without being too over the top. I recommend this inn to anyone.

Very pleasant surroundings and staff. The for was hot and and really nice. Staff came over to ask if everything was ok and of course it was. The Price was very reasonable. Thank you to the staff.
