The Horseshoe inn

Have visited the Horseshoe before. Tonight 9th April 2026 food was excellent service really good. The only downside really was one of the staff was cleaning the underside of other tables whilst we were eating we understand it was quiet at the time but thought it was strange nonetheless,we enjoyed our evening.

Requested table with plenty of light as had my elderly mother who partially sighted, and they reserved a table by a window which was great, friendly staff, and great food, my mum and I both said how nice it was

We both had the Sunday roast Turkey it was lovely and served quickly by friendly staff . We would appreciated if they could do reduced portions we are both in our 80s and struggle with large portions it would have been nice to have room for a pudding

Another lovely meal and service, food is always spot on, Chivken and Mushroom Risotto is superb

We went for a meal for Mother's Day. It was very busy so as expected it took a little longer for the food to be served. We had the roast beef, it was a very generous portion and all the food was really hot. We will definitely go back again.

Had a young child with me. Took over an hour and half for the mains to come out and that was with 3 prompts. Never asked regarding allergies and my daughter has a very common CMPA allergy. No vegan options. The room was very loud. They most definitely oversold Mother’s Day to the max.

Food very nice ,very busy Mother’s Day service,quite a long wait for the meal but worth it
